Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists for a full-time specialist opportunity within an established regional referral service in Victoria.
This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist seeking
broad consultant-level practice across both Obstetrics and Gynaecology, within a supportive multidisciplinary environment and a well-established regional health service.
International Medical Graduates who have completed, or are progressing through, the
RANZCOG/AHPRA specialist assessment pathway with a
Partially Comparable or Substantially Comparable outcome are encouraged to enquire.
The Opportunity The successful Consultant will provide specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology services across a broad range of clinical presentations, including:
- Antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal maternity care
- Routine and higher-risk obstetric management
- Acute obstetric and gynaecological presentations
- Operative gynaecology
- Specialist outpatient clinics
- Maternity and women’s health services
- Multidisciplinary management of complex patients
- Clinical supervision, teaching and professional development
The role provides the opportunity to maintain a
diverse specialist scope of practice, with senior clinical responsibility across maternity care, acute presentations, operative practice and outpatient services.
For specialists who value variety and professional autonomy, this position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the delivery and development of specialist Women’s Health services across a significant regional catchment.

Requirements
- FRANZCOG or recognised equivalent specialist qualification
- Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain registration
- Appropriate specialist experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Ability to provide broad consultant-level Obstetric and Gynaecological services
- International Medical Graduates with a RANZCOG/AHPRA Partially Comparable or Substantially Comparable assessment are encouraged to enquire
